          DWF Foundation

          The DWF Foundation is an independent charitable foundation, founded by DWF with the the sole aim of providing funds, resources and support to help our communities achieve their full potential.

          The DWF Foundation has one purpose: providing funds, resources and support to help local communities achieve their full potential.

          The DWF Foundation supports registered charities with an impact in one or more of the following areas:

          • Homelessness
          • Health & Wellbeing
          • Employability
          • Education

          The Foundation gives grants to initiatives that develop and improve local communities by:

          • Tackling a specific community issue;
          • Helping voluntary and community groups become more effective and efficient;
          • Encouraging the involvement in the community of those too often excluded; and
          • Enabling young people to develop skills for the benefit of the community.

          Between its launch in December 2015 and April 2019, the DWF Foundation has given over 100 different grants, totalling over £250,000, to a wide range of charitable organisations.

          The DWF Foundation is at the heart of DWF, supporting our values and culture of contribution. Each of our offices has its own Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) committee, driving fundraising for the Foundation, and supporting local grant giving.

          The importance of the Foundation to DWF was cemented in March 2019 when, after DWF's successful listing on the London Stock Exchange, DWF donated 1.8m shares to the Foundation, allowing the Foundation to expand its grant-giving programme in both the UK and internationally.
