            Helen is a Partner in the firm's Leeds office, specialising in occupational disease claims.

            Helen is a highly specialised litigator, with over 25 years experience in insurance and in particular disease litigation, including asbestos related claims, other chest disease claims, HAVS, RSI and deafness claims.

            She has had numerous successes in the Court of Appeal, establishing new case law and pushing the boundaries in this field, examples include Doherty –v- Rugby Joinery and Platt –v- BRB (Residuary) Ltd.

            She is client partner for Allianz Insurance, managing the firm's long-standing relationship with this organisation, as well as being client partner for British Rail claims, dealt with by the Department for Transport.

            Outside of work Helen is a befriender for the Methodist Housing Association's live at home scheme for the elderly and a keen cyclist and walker.
