DWF Construction & Engineering Loss Adjusters

DWF Adjusting is a global business providing professional negligence-related adjusting, construction, engineering and legal expertise to insurers and underwriters involved in the construction, building and surveying sectors.

Working across the UK, Canada and Australia, DWF's Construction & Engineering Loss adjusters provide professional negligence-related adjusting, construction, engineering and legal expertise to insurers and underwriters involved in the construction, building and surveying sectors.

We specialise in the technical investigation of professional indemnity claims - working in collaboration with lawyer colleagues to provide early and comprehensive advice to insurers and their insured construction professionals.

Our areas of work include all types of engineering, construction, building and surveying and we have investigated notifications arising from consultants and contractors working on a wide range of projects, from major international developments such as underground rail systems, harbours, airports and energy installations to small regional commercial and residential projects.

          Our Approach

Our unique approach sets us apart. We work hard to avoid litigation and to minimise both client’s and claimant’s costs. By focusing on early clarification of causation, decisions can be made as to the liability exposure, and hence claim handling strategies can be determined so as to minimise overall costs.

          Industry Expertise

DWF Adjusting is led by Paul Dally, a solicitor, and Mike Walsh, a Chartered Civil Engineer and Loss Adjuster, who each have over 25 years’ experience of construction, building and surveying professional negligence claims.

          Specialist Experience

DWF Adjusting has extensive specialist experience, particularly with regard to the technical and commercial complexities of international projects in Europe, Asia, Australia and the Middle East, where claims of up to £200,000,000 have been investigated.
