Large reforms of the civil process - how to secure the interests of the company

In connection with the signing by the President of the Republic of Poland on 24 July 2019 of the Act of 4 July 2019 amending the Act - the Code of Civil Procedure and certain other acts (hereinafter: "the Amendment"), new, comprehensive provisions regulating the conduct of court disputes will come into force in the coming months. The amendments are important as they concern almost all stages of civil procedure. The amendment introduces separate rules for settling commercial disputes, as well as a number of new procedural institutions such as preparatory hearings, evidence agreements and sanctions for abuse of procedural rights. The purpose of the introduced changes is primarily to streamline and accelerate the conduct of court proceedings, in particular disputes between entrepreneurs.

At the meeting, lawyers from the DWF Poland Dispute Resolution Team will discuss the most important changes by sharing their experience in court practice and conclusions from the analysis of new solutions and tools at the disposal of the parties to the proceedings.

After the lecture you're invited for a glass of wine to exchange experiences and reflections.

We will accept applications until 9th September 2019.

The number of places is limited.

We cordially invite you to join us!
