Retail, Food, and Hospitality Brexit round-up 31 March

Retail, Food & Hospitality Regulatory Brexit round-up w/e 31 March. EU Commission statement, potential expansion of article 50, and No Deal Brexit guidance.

          Date: 03/04/2019

          Key take away this week

Another week has seen another round of indicative votes fail to produce a clear way forward.

With no decisions being made, it appears that all options are still on the table, ranging from crashing out of the EU on the 12th April with no deal, a general election or yet another delay if the Government can put forward a strong justification for this.

Being prepared for the most extreme scenario is key and this week's update features yet more Brexit guidance for businesses in the food, retail and hospitality sectors should we leave the EU without a deal.
