Real estate partner Julie Simms has been named in The Planner's Women of Influence 2018.
The list recognises influential women across the planning and built environment professions and highlights the breadth and quality of work that they do. It is compiled by The Planner, the official magazine of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI).
Julie specialises in property development for both the public and private sectors and acts for developers, local authorities, landlords and property companies. Her expertise includes negotiating development agreements, structuring regeneration schemes, drafting forward funding agreements and delivering practical and informative training and workshop sessions to clients.
Julie holds a business excellence and risk management role within the real estate team, ensuring innovative systems are used to manage risk, improve efficiencies and meet clients specific requirements. She also sits on DWF's Diversity Steering Group which supports the implementation of the business's strategic diversity objectives.
