DWF appoints Linda Fu to head China Desk

Global legal business DWF has appointed Linda Fu to lead its London based China Desk.

            Date: 04/03/2019

DWF's China Desk will support clients in China to expand internationally and will help companies in other markets to conduct business in the world's second largest economy.

Linda joins from Addleshaw Goddard and specializes in inbound and outbound Chinese investments, with considerable experience advising on transactions involving state-owned businesses. Linda will work alongside colleagues in DWF's Banking & Finance, Corporate, Insurance, Infrastructure, Real Estate and Litigation teams to provide Chinese and British businesses with support on all inbound and outbound matters.

Andrew Carpenter, corporate partner at DWF who will also be part of the China Desk team, said: "Linda's appointment is an important step forward for DWF as we capitalize on the continuing interest of Chinese investors in Europe, Africa and the Gulf region. Linda's  expertise along with our teams in Europe, the Gulf and Asia Pacific will allow our China Desk to provide a comprehensive offering."

Linda added: "The China Desk will provide a hub for all of our business locations to coordinate our support for Chinese market clients. I will look to use my legal, cultural, business and language expertise to facilitate introductions and create networking opportunities for DWF."
