Joel joins DWF from Stephenson Harwood, and has particular experience in the Indonesian market, where he advises several household names in the technology, financial services, media, marketing & communications, food & beverage and consumer sectors. He also works with some of the most prominent venture capital investors in the region.

At DWF, Joel will be playing a leading role in the build-out of DWF’s corporate offering throughout Asia, with a focus on the Indonesian market. Joel will be working alongside newly appointed Managing Partner for DWF Singapore, Ben Constance and Corporate Partners Babita Ambekar, Jonathan Goacher and Nasir Dao-PKM Abdul.

Ben Constance commented: "Joel's expertise is widely recognised by clients and legal guides, as well as the regional legal market more broadly. I am delighted he has chosen to continue his practice here with DWF in Singapore to further enhance our deep roots and skill set in the SE Asian region.”

Joel added: "The opportunity to be part of a developing and ambitious global legal business is an exciting prospect to me, and I look forward to working with my colleagues across the DWF network."

The DWF office in Singapore has seen significant expansion since its launch in 2017, and the practice now employs five Corporate Partners. The team is largely internationally orientated and offers considerable experience in cross-border investment and transaction work.
