            Manbir Thandi

            Director // Head of Water, UK

            Manbir is a director and a member of the Energy and Industrials Steering Group. He defends claims on behalf of insurers and specialises in litigation involving utilities. 

            Manbir has acted for the UK's largest general insurers and major PLCs throughout his career.

            Prior to joining DWF, he worked at a leading law firm where he managed the insurance related litigation for a major UK water company which included defending major flooding claims and pursuing substantial contractor recoveries. 

            He has a range of expertise in employers' and public liability matters. His clients have included small and medium enterprises through to household retail and manufacturing companies.

            He is on the Institute of Water's Midlands Committee. He has also been appointed to FOIL’s (Forum of Insurance Lawyers) Employers' Liability Sector Focus Team.

            Manbir regularly writes articles for the leading media publications devoted to the utilities industries.
