Reed has worked in the insurance industry, both as a claims administrator and outside attorney. During that time, he has handled a number of complex matters, with high value claims including a failed hydroelectric plant in the Philippines, the Boston “Big Dig” and the Hyatt Regency collapse. Reed has been instrumental in developing policies and programs for a number of US and London-market clients. In addition to handling complex claims, Reed is also responsible for the management of the US claims operations.
As a licensed attorney, Reed has tried cases to verdict in the state courts of Illinois and Wisconsin, the Federal Courts and has argued appeals in the Supreme Courts of Illinois Wisconsin, the Federal Appellate Courts.
