            Stephen Miles

            CEO (Commercial Services)

Stephen is CEO for Commercial Services and a member of both DWF's Executive and Strategic Boards, responsible for driving forward the Commercial Services strategy to deliver further growth and increased profitability.

He is responsible for executing the firm's Commercial Services strategy, driving forward DWF's market-facing activities and co-ordinating our major commercial practice groups – Corporate Services, Litigation and Real Estate – to deliver further growth and increased profitability.

Stephen has previously led the global banking and restructuring, financial regulation, and employment and pensions practices at a leading international law firm, significantly growing and developing them, improving both client relationships and financial performance.

In his capacity as a transactional banking lawyer, he has acted for both financial institutions and corporates with particular expertise in private equity and leveraged finance. He has considerable experience of cross-border transactions and has developed close relationships in many different jurisdictions.

Across the UK and Ireland, our Commercial Services business now employs over 800 people and accounts for approximately half of DWF's turnover. To significantly strengthen our commercial business and drive forward future growth, Stephen works closely with the Chief Operating Officer for Commercial Services, as well as the heads of our Corporate Services, Litigation and Real Estate practice groups.

He also actively supports DWF's CSR and diversity initiatives, particularly the firm's women's network, which is designed to support the development of female talent, and Out Front – DWF's LGBT network.
