          Tim Green

          Head of Pensions // Partner

          Tim is a Partner in the Pensions team with a broad advisory, transactional and dispute resolution practice.
          He advises trustees, sponsors, government bodies and providers with expertise in the retail, energy, nuclear, transport, public and charitable sectors on the full range of pensions issues, both contentious and non-contentious.

          Tim advises on a variety of schemes from large multi-employer industry-wide pension schemes with several hundred employers to single employer schemes with liabilities ranging from £5m to over £1bn. He has particular expertise in restructuring and PPF matters (recently appointed to the PPF Assessment Period Legal Panel), dispute resolution (from Ombudsman complaints to high profile High Court proceedings such as the prominent Massey Ferguson case), employer covenant and funding issues, regulatory matters such as clearance applications, benefit redesign, consultation and mergers and acquisitions.

          I was noted as a "good all-round lawyer who gives good commercial advice" in Chambers and Partners (2013).

          Tim is a Naui International Scuba Diver and enjoys spending time with his young family.
