            Christopher Walsh


            Christopher specialises in residential conveyancing matters for high net worth/high value transactions ranging from freehold purchases, to complex new build, shared ownership new lease matters.

            Christopher also provides an expert service on standard transactions such as sales, purchases, right to buy, transfers of equity and remortgages.  

            Christopher is a Fellow of the Institute of Paralegals and a member of the Society of Licenced Conveyancers. As a Fellow of the Institute he is recognised as having leading experience in conveyancing matters and is also registered as a Tier 4 Paralegal on the Professional Paralegal Register. As a Member of the Society of Licenced Conveyancers, and a Fellow of the Institute of Paralegals, Christopher attends a range of seminars and training events to ensure his legal knowledge and skills are always up to date.

            Christopher has over ten years' experience in dealing with residential conveyancing matters. He has acted on the acquisition of large properties/estates with both residential and agricultural aspects. Other large scale projects involved multiple dwellings within an estate and carrying out the correct procedures for SDLT submission for the benefit of his clients. In addition he has acted for companies and insurance providers in transactions of residential property at both company level and for directors/owners.

            At DWF he works closely with the private client team in dealing with matters relating to probate and trust sales along with purchases of properties by trustees on behalf of trusts. Working alongside our family teams, he assists and provides advice in regards to Transfers of Equity in accordance with Court Orders and Settlements. In addition Christopher has strong links with our real estate teams assisting clients in residential matters and advice; along with advice on the Grants of Lease for developers.
