            William Mackenzie

            Manager/Costs Lawyer

            William is a Costs Lawyer and has significant experience in all areas of costs litigation and has over 10 years in practice; he deals with every aspect from costs budgeting, mediation, arbitrations to assessments.

            William is the technical and strategic litigation lead for the costs team and location lead for the London and Birmingham costs teams.

            He deals with a wide range of costs claims, including catastrophic personal injury, professional negligence, commercial and medical negligence. He also has a great depth of knowledge in fixed costs cases and the resulting issues which often arise. 

            He works closely with a number of the teams in DWF providing strategic guidance in relation to the ever changing costs landscape. He regularly gives legal update training seminars to both fee earners and external clients.

            Outside of work, William enjoys golf and travelling.
