            We will consider:

            • The initial March 2020 Government Coronavirus Guidance for Landlords and Tenants which essentially resulted in all but emergency repairs being postponed and the updated Government Guidance from June 2020 which gave the green light to routine repairs and inspections being re-started.
            • The effect of the delays on protocol and directions compliance.
            • Potential difficulties which may be encountered by landlords such as tenants shielding, self-isolating or general access issues and what action should be taken in these circumstances.

We will also briefly look at general factors facing landlords including the impacts on statutory inspections, delays in possession claims and the like.
