I initially began my legal career working at a high street firm in Leeds, alongside studying my LPC. My role involved assisting the Managing Partner and Associates with matters which covered different areas of law including; commercial property, dispute resolution, family and personal injury. I joined DWF in 2017, after completing my studies, as a paralegal in the Real Estate LSC.
The positive atmosphere and being a part of an innovative legal business. DWF ensure its people are progressing at the same pace as the firm and its growth.
DWF Foundation support local issues by fundraising. My proudest moment would have to be when the firm came together and supported both the staff and community after the MEN attack in Manchester.
DWF's Values and culture set it aside from all other firms. DWF have a positive and welcoming approach with its people and has an excellent portfolio of clients.
DWF emphasises the importance of individual career development. The DWF Academy is a key tool, which allows you to access knowledge resources, anytime, anywhere and assists you in learning a wide range of skills – not just legal based. We receive internal seminars with the PSL to ensure we are cognizant of any legal updates and to provide us with a better understanding of the work we carry out.
DWF's internal social media platform, Yammer, allows you to keep up to date with any upcoming events and instructions on how to get involved. There are many opportunities to get involved with projects and activities through CSR. As a member of the CSR group I also receive regular updates on different activities and projects.
Innovative, motivating [and] diverse.
