Loss Adjusting

Our specialist loss adjusting team handles professional indemnity insurance claims as well as General Liability and CAR claims throughout the UK, Ireland and South East Asia on behalf of leading underwriters, Lloyd’s syndicates, company insurers and large policyholders.

We promote the principle of 'Expert Led' multi-disciplinary investigation in which initial enquiries are undertaken by individuals with experience relevant to the profession in question, combined with legal advice. The majority of our team of loss adjusters are holders of a second qualification including Chartered Insurer, Chartered Quantity Surveyor, Chartered Civil Engineer, Chartered Structural Engineer, LLM Construction Law and Forensic Accountant. This assures the policyholder and insurer that the issues are properly understood and that legal liability has been objectively assessed.

We are predominantly involved in the resolution of claims relating to the construction industry, including those against Architects, Building Surveyors, Consulting Engineers (Civil, Structural, Mechanical and Electrical), Construction Managers, Planning Supervisors, Quantity Surveyors, Design & Build Contractors, Specialist Sub-contractors and Building Component Suppliers. We also have wide experience in building defect identification, surveying practices, quantum analysis and the principles of valuation.

However, our building knowledge and loss adjusting experience also means we are well placed to handle a wide range of property and casualty claims and also professional liability claims against a range of professions including; Insurance Brokers, Accountants, IFA’s, Loss Adjusters, Property Consultants, Valuers and Planning Consultants.
