Business law firm DWF has appointed leading private client lawyer, Alan Sturrock, to its Manchester team.
A specialist in the field for over 30 years, Alan brings with him a wealth of private client experience, having previously acted as lead partner for the Manchester private client teams at Addleshaw Goddard and Cobbetts.
Alan acts as a Trustee for a number of high net worth trusts, as well as advising entrepreneurs, media personalities and the owners of landed estates on succession and estate planning and inheritance tax issues. Alan also regularly advises charities and charitable trusts on both contentious and non-contentious issues.
A prominent figure in the legal community, Alan is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and is recognised as a trust and tax specialist in both the Legal 500 and Chambers legal directories. He has also been listed in the Citiwealth top 100 list of Private Client Professionals for the last four years.
