DWF Young Professionals Burns Supper

The DWF Young Professionals attended the Burns Suppers on Tuesday, 28 January 2014 and Thursday, 30 January 2014 in the Glasgow and Edinburgh Boardrooms respectively. The Young Professionals were accompanied by guests from Baker Tilly, The BIG Partnership, Edinburgh Translators, Ice Robotics, It Is On, JVA James Barr, Keppie Design, KPMG, STV, and Subway. We enjoyed memorable renditions of some of Robert Burns' best works including The Address to the Haggis and Willie's Prayer. Paul Brown, a Partner of our Employment & Pensions team, gave the Toast to the Lassies in his usual inimitable style and he was ably answered in the Reply for the Lassies which was written and performed by the Young Professionals' very own Carron Bell.

Following the event, Catriona Hunter-Seabourne, Chairwoman of the DWF Young Professionals – Glasgow Committee, commented that "The DWF Burns Suppers in Glasgow and Edinburgh were an excellent opportunity for the Young Professionals to socialise and network with contacts, intermediaries and colleagues, and we enjoyed celebrating the works of Robert Burns in true Scottish style. The speakers were fantastic as was the piper and we have received excellent feedback from our guests. The event was certainly a success and the Young Professionals are looking forward to attending the DWF Burns Suppers again in January 2015."
