DWF shortlisted at Birmingham Young Professional of the Year Awards

Senior solicitor, James Neale, from national law firm DWF's Insurance team, has been shortlisted in the legal category of the 14th annual Birmingham Young Professional of the Year Awards.

Organised by the city's young professionals' network, BPS Birmingham Future, the prestigious event recognises and rewards Birmingham's young professional talent across six different sectors: legal; property and construction; finance; HR, recruitment and training; marketing and communications; and technology.

The legal category recognises individuals under 35 from a variety of roles that have made an exceptional contribution to the profession.

James joined DWF in 2012 from Buller Jeffries and works in the firm's Insurance team, on cases including employers' liability and public liability. He also assists senior members of the team on high value product liability and policy interpretation claims.

Caroline Coates, executive partner at DWF's Birmingham office, said: "DWF is a firm that nurtures young talent and places great emphasis on helping our employees to grow and develop professionally.

"James is a real asset to our team and an active member of Birmingham's young professional community, so it's great to see him shortlisted. BYPY is one of the most prestigious awards in the Midlands so this is a real achievement, we wish him the best of luck and look forward to the ceremony next month."

This year's shortlist was selected by a panel of judges chaired by Steve Hollis, the deputy chair of the Greater Birmingham and Solihull Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP). The winners will be announced during an awards ceremony at Birmingham's ICC on Thursday 1 May.
