Last night, national law firm DWF hosted a Spring Ball for young professionals in Manchester and raised over £2,500 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The event took place at The Point, Lancashire Cricket Club, and was attended by over 260 people from organisations within the legal and financial sectors. It provided a forum for junior and mid-level professionals from across the region to meet new people as well as catching up with existing contacts, whilst raising money for DWF's nominated charity in Manchester.
Commenting on the event, Phil Duignan, chair of the DWF Manchester Young Professionals group, said: "This has been our biggest event to date and epitomises exactly what the YP group in Manchester intends to deliver at all of our events. It was great to see so many people from a range of organisations across the city getting to know one another and we are really pleased to have raised such a significant amount of money for Macmillan Cancer Support."
DWF Young Professionals host events throughout the year to provide networking opportunities for future leaders in the North West.
