DWF independently ranked in top five law firms for graduates

National business law firm DWF has been independently ranked as one of the top five law firms and one of the top 50 employers across all industry sectors in the ‘Top 100 Companies for Graduates to Work For 2014/15’. DWF beat magic circle, international, national and regional law firms, as well as major graduate recruiters outside of the legal sector including highly-respected employers such as Accenture, Marks & Spencer, Rolls Royce and the NHS.

The research, conducted by The Job Crowd, a leading graduate job review website, has been based on thousands of reviews written by employees in their first three years of work at major organisations from across the UK.

DWF is committed to recruiting, retaining and developing the best quality people and over the past 12 months has doubled its trainee intake to 95, whilst becoming the first UK law firm to introduce video interviews to its graduate recruitment process doubling the number of people interviewed and broadening the diversity of candidates. The firm has also developed initiatives such as bespoke career workshops and coaching, learning and development programmes to further support both prospective and current employees.

Kate Hasluck, emerging talent manager at DWF, commented: “This ranking is great recognition of the firm’s progress over the past 12 months and is particularly pleasing as the results are based solely on the views of new graduate employees. It is a fantastic achievement to be ranked above some of the most well-known graduate recruiters and demonstrates the progress we have made over the past year.”

The top five law firms were: Linklaters, Hogan Lovells, Herbert Smith Freehills, CMS Cameron McKenna and DWF.
