Organised by the DWF Liverpool Young Professionals Committee, the International Festival of Business event, ‘The Success Forum’ took place in The Hub and was opened by Max Steinberg, Chair of the IFB and CEO of Liverpool Vision.
An engaging and inspiring panel chaired by Paul Rimmer consisted of Warwick Ley, Partner at RooGreen Ventures LLP, Matt Lumb, Director and COO at Tangle Teezer Limited, Helen Tse MBE, Founder of Sweet Mandarin and Matthew Dashper-Hughes, COO at Ryman Stationery.
Each speaker’s background story was inspiring and motivating. One thing they all had in common was that they took a risk and gave a new venture a go. Throughout the panel, there was a clear consensus that there is no substitute for hard work and that networking is a key component to success at all levels.
The event was very well attended by professionals across several sectors and closed with a lively question and answer session. The speakers had many interesting points to make about successful career development and making the most out of all opportunities.
All in all, the event was a great success with attendees taking away thoughts on how to create their own career success.
