DWF’s Head of Financial Services accredited as member of the EACTP

Andrew Gregory, partner and Head of Financial Services at national law firm DWF, has been accredited as a member of the European Association of Certified Turnaround Professionals (EACTP) in recognition of his role as lead advisor on many significant and high profile restructuring assignments. Andrew is the only lawyer in the North of England to be accepted by the Association to date.

The EACTP is an independent organisation offering a benchmark of quality in the practice of turnaround and restructuring and was created to establish the first ever European-wide accreditation programme for all turnaround professionals across the continent.

The accreditation reflects Andrew’s 25 years’ experience in the financial services sector. Working primarily with lenders, investors, corporates and high net worth individuals, Andrew has experience in all types of work in the corporate rescue and recovery fields, working for banks, companies, directors and creditors in the process of business improvement and restructuring for both large corporates and SMEs. He also specialises in formal insolvency matters including administration, liquidations and company voluntary arrangements and, as head of DWF’s financial services sector and a partner in the business restructuring team, leads the firm’s cross-border restructuring work.

Commenting on his accreditation, Andrew said: “The EACTP is a fantastic benchmark of quality and professional standards for the turnaround profession and is governed by some of the leading turnaround specialists across Europe, so it is a real privilege to have been accepted as a member. The accreditation is a welcome recognition of my many years in field and I look forward to taking an active role in the association and its future development.”

The EACTP was established by the Turnaround Management Association (TMA) Europe to promote the accreditation of turnaround management professionals in Europe.
