National legal business DWF has appointed partner Nic Crocker as the new Executive Partner of its Leeds office.
Nic has over 24 years’ experience as a partner at national law firms including seven years at DWF where he is also the National Head of Real Estate. In his Executive Partner role Nic will be responsible for driving forward DWF’s strategic business objectives in the region through effective employee engagement and client service delivery, and also for championing DWF’s charitable and pro bono work in the local community.
Leeds is an important market for DWF where the firm employs 297 people and has 41 partners delivering the full range of commercial legal services, including most recently, employment partner Robert Riley who was appointed last October from Addleshaw Goddard. In Leeds, DWF has been independently recognised in UK legal guides across 22 practice areas including corporate and M&A, real estate, social housing, and charities and not-for-profit and has secured a number of important new clients including Countrywide, Morrisons, NorthEdge Capital, The Grammar School at Leeds and the Yorkshire Building Society.

The appointment follows the departure of James Haddleton who leaves DWF to start a new in-house role as Head of Legal with pharmaceutical company, the Clinigen Group.
