The DWF team, led by real estate partner Melanie Williams, acted for the HCA on the land sale of 21 acres to the London Taxi Company, which will enable the Chinese-owned company to develop a new factory to produce electric black cabs - bringing further major investment to the Midlands.
Steve Holland, Head of Asset Management at the HCA, said: “We are delighted to welcome London Taxi Cabs to Ansty Park, following on the heels of Sainsbury’s and MTC, being testament to the Park’s ethos of research and development.”
Melanie Williams, real estate partner at DWF, said: “Creating successful communities is at the heart of what the HCA delivers and today’s deal demonstrates this. It brings key investment to Coventry whilst stimulating significant job opportunities for the region, and we are pleased to support the HCA on this high-profile transaction.
“We have a strong real estate team in place, and due to geographical reach, on-going investment and core expertise, we are well placed to support clients on deals of this size across the UK and internationally.”
