DWF shortlisted for public sector accolade at Scottish Legal Awards

Legal business DWF has been shortlisted for the Public Sector Law Firm of the Year award at this year’s prestigious Scottish Legal Awards.

As a finalist, the DWF public sector team has been recognised for advising central and local government organisations on some of the largest and most prominent projects in the country, including acting for Transport Scotland on the relet of the ScotRail and Caledonian Sleeper Rail Franchises worth circa £7 billion and representing The Highland Council in its appeal to the Inner House of the Court of Session against a decision of Scottish Ministers on a controversial planning matter.

This is the first time the Scottish Legal Awards has included a public sector category, which highlights the growing significance of public sector work within Scotland.

The winners, selected by a panel of independent experts from business, law and politics, will be announced at an award ceremony on Thursday 26th March in Edinburgh.
