Martin Gallaher, construction, infrastructure and projects partner at DWF, said: “It’s great to see the implementation of the new ScotRail and Sleeper franchises. These projects are of national significance and will transform rail connectivity in Scotland.”

DWF has a strong track record delivering infrastructure in the transport sector having worked on high profile projects, such as the Mersey Gateway DBFO Project and Edinburgh Trams. The team advises on the full range of transport sector issues, including developments, franchising, infrastructure, funding and operations.

Suzanne Moir who leads DWF’s Construction, Infrastructure and Projects Team in Scotland said: “We have a great team in place with first-rate transport sector experience which has been, further strengthened by recent lateral hires and the promotion of Isobel Reid (contentious and non-contentious construction) to senior associate. These appointments not only strengthen our rail offering but add key capabilities across our construction, infrastructure and projects practice.”
