Also recognised by the Financial Times as one of the most innovative products in client service and presented with the Law Firm Innovation award at the 2014 British Legal Awards, DWF’s Crisis Response Service was developed in direct response to client demand for a fully integrated crisis management service for organisations with public responsibility and compliance requirements, including charities, educational institutions, health authorities, housing associations and local government bodies.
The firm’s dedicated Crisis Response team works with public sector clients to provide early engagement of lawyers and communication specialists during a crisis, ensuring the necessary legal support is available whilst also safeguarding the client’s reputation and business. The offering complements core legal support with incident management guidance and a suite of proactive risk-management tools including interactive workshops, bespoke training and legal e-bulletins. Following collaboration with clients, Crisis Response has been further developed to include incident management training and real time client extranets, which offer clients a secure online space for uploading and accessing case information along with live press and social media feeds.
On 7 July 2015 DWF will partner with Alder Media to deliver an interactive Crisis Response Seminar. Run by experienced legal and media professionals, the event will look at case studies based on real events to advise organisations on how best to communicate during a business crisis.
