National legal business DWF has been shortlisted in the Financial Times’ Innovative Lawyers Awards 2015, which recognise the firms and lawyers across Europe who are leading change in the legal sector through ground-breaking initiatives in client service, legal expertise and people engagement. DWF has a strong track record of innovation and is currently recognised by the Financial Times as one of Europe’s 50 most innovative law firms.
The Financial Times’ Innovative Lawyers programme includes an annual report which, produced with research partner RSG Consulting, showcases the legal service providers who are delivering solutions with the greatest originality and impact across a wide range of legal and business-focused categories, client service, legal expertise, technology and social responsibility. Following extensive independent research and client feedback for each firm, shortlists for the awards are based on the highest ranked submissions in each category.
Last year DWF was recognised in the report as one of Europe’s 50 most innovative law firms for a range of innovative initiatives and services, including the firm’s Crisis Response Service, which supports clients across a range of industries with legal advice, business continuity planning, reputation management and psychological support during any type of business crisis, and is the only crisis management service of its kind in the UK. DWF was also recognised for being the first UK law firm to achieve the ClearAssured accreditation, which established the business as a leader in recruiting disabled talent and building a diverse workforce.
Following the development of a number of client and employee-driven innovations this year, including the firm’s new integrated service delivery models and a £12m investment in IT to support agile working, DWF has also recently been awarded Legal Innovator of the Year at the 2015 Legal Business Awards and is shortlisted for ‘Innovation in agile working’ and ‘Most innovative use of office environment’ at the upcoming Lawyer Business Leadership Awards.
