Top 20 legal business DWF has won the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) accolade at this year’s Law Awards of Scotland.
DWF has been recognised for delivering innovative initiatives that support education & employability, health & wellbeing and homelessness to help communities in Edinburgh and Glasgow, as part of the firm’s strategic approach to CSR.
The judges singled out key CSR programmes, such as 5 STAR Futures that focuses on working with aspirational young people from low income backgrounds and provides them with a practical framework enabling them to improve confidence, build resilience and develop key employability skills for the future. In addition, DWF was recognised for its participation in the annual Give and Gain event and its ongoing partnership with The Rock Trust supporting homeless people aged between 16-25 to secure employment and donating key essentials, such as food and clothing.

DWF’s Scott Greaves was also shortlisted for Trainee of the Year. He was selected for the positive impact he has made to the DWF team through proficient legal service delivery supporting the real estate team and taking an active role in key CSR and graduate recruitment activity helping to support the community and future talent.
