DWF ranks top ten for people engagement and workplace initiatives

National legal business DWF has been ranked joint 6th in this year’s Roll on Friday 'Firm of the Year' survey. Roll on Friday is a humorous legal website and its survey, based on independent employee feedback, ranks law firms by various employee satisfaction criteria. This is DWF’s best ever position in the rankings, having moved up from 15th place last year.

DWF’s Managing Partner and CEO Andrew Leaitherland commented: “We want DWF to be a brilliant place to work, and it's great that the initiatives we've launched are making a positive difference to our people, but we recognise there is still a huge amount we can do to help our people excel at their roles and achieve both their personal and career goals.”

Over the last 12 months DWF has introduced a number of initiatives designed to offer its people a greater work/life balance. Recognising the positive impact of flexible and homeworking capability on its people, DWF was one of the first UK law firms to actively encourage agile working, and has made significant investments in IT and facilities to enable employees to work more efficiently from any location. DWF is also encouraging professional development for employees and, with the introduction of a new performance-related pay and bonus structure, taking steps to more clearly recognise and reward the breadth of contributions that its people are making to the business. The firm also offers a variety of sport, social and charity activities that reflect the interests of individuals across all locations.

DWF was awarded Best Managed Workplace at the 2015 Managing Partners’ Forum Awards and has been independently ranked one of the top two UK law firms for employee satisfaction and one of the top 30 employers for working families.
