DWF has appointed EY’s EMEIA Advisory Finance Director, Chris Stefani, as its new Chief Financial Officer. Chris will join DWF in April 2016 to oversee all of DWF’s financial operations in the UK and internationally, with a focus on enhancing revenue, improving profitability and driving working capital management to support the firm’s growth.
Chris has enjoyed a 17 year career with EY. In his current role as Finance Director for EMEIA Advisory, Chris oversees a $2.7bn business delivering double digit revenue growth and with 19,000 staff and partners in over 92 countries.
Chris is also a member of the EMEIA Advisory Executive, where he is considered a trusted advisor to the Managing Partner, Deputy, and 12 Regional Advisory Leaders, and a member of the Global Steering Committee for EY Finance Academy having been recognised as a leader and innovator. Having worked in many different finance function roles in UK and Ireland and more recently in EMEIA, including as Head of Finance for UK&I Tax and CFO for Republic of Ireland, Chris has extensive experience advising executive boards on all aspects of the financial management, control, reporting and analysis mechanisms of a large organisation.
Chris has led significant projects relating to UK subsidiaries, Partner Finance and Treasury optimisation. He also has recent experience of building and restructuring teams and a strong focus on people development.
Chris is a trustee and honorary treasurer of national charity KIDS which delivers services to support disabled children and their families.

Chris will report directly to Managing Partner & CEO Andrew Leaitherland. Chris will sit on both the firm’s Executive and Strategic Boards.
