DWF Family Team supports Broadgreen International school on International Women’s Day

The DWF Family team in Liverpool has recently supported International Women’s Day by partaking in the newly launched Inspiring Girls programme with Broadgreen International school and Business in the Community.

Female students were invited to join the programme which will take place over the next few months and be mentored by women from DWF. The programme will focus on the students’ aspirations and how these are to be encouraged in an inspiring atmosphere.

With the launch taking place on International Women’s Day, DWF hosted a session intended to motivate and inspire the students. Talks were given to the students on how women within DWF achieved their current success, including a talk from Partner, Beverley Jones, who heads up the family team in Liverpool.

Solicitors Sinead Cassidy and Jenny Sweeting, took part in group work with the students discussing limitations placed on women and how they can overcome them.

The DWF team then hosted an informal networking session with the students to discuss the programme and what the students were hoping to achieve from this over the next few months.
