DWF announces 35-strong promotions round

Legal business DWF has announced 35 senior promotions across its UK commercial and insurance teams, including six new partners and fourteen new associates.

Legal business DWF has announced 35 senior promotions across its UK commercial and insurance teams, including six new partners and fourteen new associates.

The six new partners are commercial litigation specialist Darren Kenny and Head of Consumer Credit and Asset Finance Sector Julia Williams, both currently directors in the firm, while promotions from senior associate to partner are Joanna Hamilton, Lee Pickett, Luke Hopkins and Paul Mason, all in the firm’s national real estate practice.

Those promoted to associate are Alicia Renshaw in banking; Ben Griffin, Costas Nicolaou and Daniel Cotton in litigation; Charlotte Chadwick, Nick Wallace and Pandora Lougheed in real estate; Mark Mulgrave in commercial; Reena Buggal in occupational health and casualty; Sarah Mir and Hannah Fitzgerald in personal injury; Alexandra Cartwright and Tom Mungovan in professional indemnity; Carrie Pearson in insurance fraud and Sahar Farooqi, Barrister and Mediator in the Advocacy team.

DWF has also promoted ten of its people to director-level, equivalent to partner at DWF, namely David Hulbert, Gareth Curtis, Helena Davies, Martyn Kolankiewicz, Tom Maxwell, Matt Lynch, Caroline Sanders, Greg Dawson, James Allen and Jon Hyde. Ryan Jurgelis-Hinnells has been promoted to manager, the firm’s associate-equivalent. The remaining three promotions are within the partnership.
