DWF shortlisted for national awards in Scotland

Scottish Legal Awards Shortlist 2017Legal business DWF has been shortlisted for two categories in the Scottish Legal Awards 2017, for Innovation in Practice and Rising Star of the Year.

The firm has been shortlisted for Innovation in Practice in recognition of its growing insurance and counter fraud teams in Scotland, which enables clients tackle fraud utilising innovative profiling and analytics tools. In 2016, the firm launched a counter fraud team in Scotland with the appointment of partner Jill Sinclair to meet rising client demand and help insurers stay ahead of the market.

DWF trainee solicitor Helen Callaghan has also been shortlisted for Rising Star of the Year in recognition of her accomplishments and extensive expertise in personal injury, working alongside the firm’s insurance partners on some of the country’s most high-profile cases.

The winners will be announced at a black tie ceremony in Edinburgh on 30th March.

DWF’s circa 900-strong national insurance team has been widely recognised in the last 12 months for its role in some of the industry’s most cutting-edge cases and tech-driven counter fraud initiatives.
