DWF Middle East shortlisted for International Firm of the Year

DWF Middle East has been shortlisted at the Middle East Legal Awards 2017 for International Firm of the Year in recognition of the firm's substantial growth in the region.

Since launching in Dubai in early 2015, the team has expanded from just four lawyers to 25 and advises clients both in the Middle East and beyond across key practices, including Arabic litigation, construction, corporate & commercial work, government, infrastructure, insurance, international arbitration, regulatory and real estate.

The firm has also been recognised for its significantly enhanced Middle East offering following the announcement of an exclusive association with Harasani & Alkhamees in Saudi Arabia in February 2017, giving DWF experts in Riyadh and Jeddah. Building a strong presence in Saudi Arabia, the region's largest state and economy, is pivotal to DWF's strategic objective to increase its presence in the Middle East and the association enables both firms to build a first class, client-focused practice based on innovation throughout the region and internationally.

DWF Middle East is led by Managing Partner Waseem Khokhar and has continued to attract top talent, including litigation partner Haytham Alieh from Baker & McKenzie Habib Al Mulla and construction & contracts partner John Coghlan from Addleshaw Goddard in Qatar.

The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on Thursday 11th May at The Ritz-Carlton in Dubai's Jumeirah Beach Residence.
