DWF Edinburgh is delighted to host the launch of Cirrus CEO Dr Simon Hayward's book, Connected Leadership: How to build a more agile, customer-driven business, on the evening of Wednesday 8 June.
We are pleased to announce the guest speaker on the evening, Neil Barrell, Director of People Services at Three UK. Three is a featured case study in the book and Neil will talk about how Three has become a more agile and connected organisation following an extensive programme of leadership development.
The book, published in December 2015 by FT Publishing, was WHSmith’s Business Book of the Month in January. Simon has recently returned from a book tour of Singapore and Australia.
It provides a clear, practical guide for business leaders who wish to create more agile and customer-oriented organisations in a digitally connected, customer-driven 21st century business environment.
This event, which will run from 5.30pm – 7.30pm, is a great opportunity to hear more about the key themes of the book and to enjoy drinks and canapés in a relaxed environment with guests from a wide range of organisations.
Simon will talk about the importance of developing more connected leadership across organisations in our fast-changing world, drawing on his extensive research. He will highlight some fascinating examples from leading companies in the book and share some practical hints and tips.
Guests will have the opportunity to engage in Q&A with Simon and discussion with fellow leaders from a range of different organisations, and to pick up a signed copy of the book.
Connected Leadership has been well received and highly recommended by several business leaders and academics.
“A great read for managers and leaders who want to make a difference, full of stories and tools everyone can relate to. This book will really help you.”
Paul Matthews, CEO, UK & Europe, Standard Life
