Briefing dates and subjects
Wednesday, 15 June: Telematics
The next topic in our series of Motor Fraud claims briefings will be on the subject of Telematics on Wednesday, 15 June 2016.
With Telematics increasing in popularity, the role of telematics data within the claims process is being brought sharply into focus.
If used appropriately, telematics data can be a powerful weapon in the fight against fraud. It can also help to reduce claim life cycles and indemnity spend whilst improving fraud strike rates. With recent and forthcoming legal reforms, telematics could also have a valuable part to play in shaping future claims strategies.
During this seminar we will share some of our experiences of using telematics within the claims process and in litigation and examine some of the considerations when presenting the data as evidence. We will also cover data interpretation and the role of telematics as intelligence.
