Scottish Casualty Fraud Counsel Seminar: Summers, Versloot and Hayward - Translation into Scots

We would be delighted if you could join us for the next in our series of Counsel Seminars on Monday, 23 January 2017 at our DWF Glasgow office from 4pm - 5pm.

Our guest speaker is Richard Pugh, Advocate, of Compass Chambers. Richard has a varied practice but his principle areas of expertise are personal injury, property damage, professional and clinical negligence and fatal accident inquiries. Richard has dealt with a number of leading cases in the area of casualty personal injury law, including DM v Lothian Health Board.

In this seminar Richard will be covering three recent UKSC judgments and explaining the law in relation to fraudulent claims. All three cases were English appeals and Richard will examine how, if at all, the principles translate into Scots Law.

If you have any specific issues you would like to be addressed on the day, please contact Allison McEleney.

We look forward to seeing you there.
