DWF Liverpool Community Project

For the second year running, the first year trainees from DWF's Liverpool office organised a community project with a local domestic abuse shelter.

The project, co-ordinated by Business in the Community, saw a team of 4 trainees create a Christmas Grotto for the shelter's annual Christmas party. The team included Alex Morgan, Christina Milan, Chris Brown and Jennifer Sweeting, who independently sourced all materials required for the project, including a Christmas tree and festive decorations, turning the shelter into a winter wonderland that the mothers and children can enjoy.

Kate Hasluck, Graduate and Apprentice Recruitment Manager; 'At DWF we actively encourage our trainees to get involved in CSR activities, so it is great to see them undertaking such valuable work in the community and really living the firm's values'.
