CSR in action: DWF and Liverpool John Moores University

The Liverpool employment team helped support Liverpool John Moores University implement their pro bono legal advice centre for their law students.

The advice centre provides the students with the opportunity to advise local businesses and individuals. The initiative enables students to apply their academic studies to real life scenarios. Further, the students gain valuable experience in interviewing clients and delivering legal advice.

Lorna Rigby, a senior solicitor at DWF said “It was really rewarding to meet with the students and offer them support and guidance in advising clients with real life legal issues”
