Mixed messages on alcohol consumption

The Department of Health has praised the drinks sector for progress made in reducing the total number of units of alcohol sold. Yet DH sponsored Public Health England has issued a press release encouraging consumers to have a ‘Dry January’ in support of a campaign by Alcohol Concern.
