Retail, Food and Hospitality Regulatory Update 1 June 2015

Enterprise Bill in Queens Speech: As anticipated, the Queens Speech contains a bill to pave the way for £10Bn red tape savings; a ‘small business conciliation service’ to deal with late payment issues, greater accountability of national regulators to business and strengthening of the Primary Authority scheme to streamline local enforcement - but detail remains lacking.

Recommended Retail Price comparison complaint upheld: The ASA has upheld a complaint regarding a bathroom supplier claiming reductions from RRP for its own brand exclusive supply lines.
