Scotland to say no to GM Crops

The Scottish Government has stated that it will seek an EU ‘opt out’ from cultivation of GM crops in Scotland under new EU rules.

Rules published for civil redress following competition infringements

The Competition and Markets Authority has published detailed guidance on the operation by businesses of voluntary redress schemes that may attract up to 20% penalty discounts.

Private Ombudsman to support dispute resolution

Ombudsman Services has announced its intention to take on consumer complaints where a business is not part of an alternative dispute resolution scheme.

Supermarkets with zero hygiene ratings named

As part of its continuing campaign for mandatory display of Food Hygiene ratings in England, Which? has published a list of 13 supermarkets, including Tesco and Co-op branches, which attracted zero ratings.
