Scotland to lead on Circular Economy

The Scottish Government has launched a detailed consultation on its ambition to show global leadership in moving towards a ‘Circular economy’ building on its ‘Zero waste’ Scotland programme.
Closing date 30 October.

Repeat e-mail breaches advertising code

The ASA has upheld a complaint regarding Flooring Direct for sending an e-mail to customers claiming the same ‘half price’ items and ‘offer ends Monday’ in two consecutive weeks.

Consultation on Minimum wage

The Low Pay Commission has re-issued its consultation on proposed Government increases to the Minimum wage. Closing date 25 September.

Consultation on apprenticeship levy

The Department for Business, Innovation and Skills has issued a consultation paper on Government proposals to impose an apprenticeship levy on larger businesses. Closing date 2 October.

9.00pm Watershed for Gambling advertising

The Department for Culture Media and Sport has welcomed a new code of practice issued by the Independent Group for Responsible Gambling including a 9.00pm start time.
