Selling goods – getting it right under the new Consumer Rights Act

With less than a month to go before the Consumer Rights Act comes into force, we take a look at the changes that traders should be aware of when selling goods.

Enterprise Bill introduced to House of Lords

The Government has published an Enterprise Bill containing provisions to create a Small Business Commissioner to deal with late payments.

Immigration Bill to crack down on illegal working

Provisions include the setting up of a Director of Labour Market Enforcement, strengthening links of immigration offences to the Licensing Act 2003 and property rental.

ASA case upheld over making unauthorised health claims

The Advertising Standards Authority has upheld a complaint regarding an advertisement for Pharma Nord which made various health claims relating to Omega variants.
