ASA cross out pricing ruling

The ASA has ruled that it is inappropriate to show a cross out price when referring to a saving between current online and showroom prices.

Restaurant chains ranked by food hygiene ratings

In a high profile ‘look before you book’ campaign, the Food Standards Agency has ranked the largest twenty restaurant chains on the basis of the % of premises that are 5* rated under its Food Hygiene Rating scheme.

Review of packaging waste recovery targets

The Department for Environment and Rural Affairs is consulting on revised recovery targets for plastic and glass through to 2020. Closing date 23 December.

Sugar and obesity in the spotlight

Ahead of today’s Westminster Hall debate following the Jamie Oliver petition for a sugary drinks levy, the Children’s Food Campaign issued a briefing for MP’s, the Scottish Government and the British Heart Foundation have highlighted various statistics showing little change in childhood obesity rates or sugar consumption.

  • Benzisothiazolinone: 2015/2116
  • Chloromethylisothiazolinone and methylisothiazolinone: 2015/2117
