Disruptive 3D printers change production processes

German news channel n-tv reported on April 4, 2016, about the disruptive technology of Additive Manufacturing. This technology provides enormous applications and use cases in the entire industrial production, says Prof. Dr. Witt, University of Duisburg-Essen. DWF’s Certified Attorney in Information Technology, Marco Müller-ter Jung, points out that 3D printing raises specific legal issues. As co-chairman of the VDI-committee “Legal aspects of Additive Manufacturing” (VDI, the biggest organisation of German engineers) Marco and chairman Stefan Kleszczynski, University of Duisburg-Essen, are working on the legal conditions and framework of this technology.
