My practice encompasses many of the issues that face companies operating in the technology sector today. As well as handling the many commercial issues which face every company, I have dealt with disputes relating to hardware and software failures, system development and transition, technology product recalls, e-commerce, IP infringements, antitrust claims arising from dominant and collusive actions in the technology sector, research funding and licensing of new technologies.
Many of these issues require both technical expertise and a sensitive approach to maintaining critical commercial relationships during the dispute.
I have supported clients across the entire technology sector – from the biggest global tech brands, including Apple, Fujitsu, Expedia, Seiko Epson and Honeywell, customers of transformative outsourcing projects, and developers and funders of new technologies.
I have represented clients up to the Supreme Court in England, in arbitrations in each of the global centres under all of the major institutional rules, in expert determinations and numerous other ADR processes.
Chambers has described me as “first rate, highly intelligent” with “excellent commercial judgment”; “very smart”, “dedicated to the client” and “a good strategist”.
